I’m a true believer in justice.  It has always been my belief that everyone deserves to be treated fairly at the hands of the criminal justice system.  That belief controlled my approach to prosecution as an assistant district attorney and it drives me today as a criminal defense attorney.  Everyone deserves to have their rights protected and I love being able to use my education and experience to help those who are facing criminal charges and need an advocate by their side.

Attorney Courtney Redman began his legal career in 2009 as an Assistant District Attorney with the Kings County District Attorney’s Office in Brooklyn, New York, where he handled misdemeanor and felony cases from initiation through trial.  Prior to joining the Kavinoky Law Firm, Mr. Redman ran The Law Office of Courtney W. Redman, Esq. where he represented clients in criminal and consumer protection matters.  Mr. Redman is currently an Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of LaVerne College of Law.  A graduate of Howard University (2005) and The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law (2009), Mr. Redman is licensed to practice law in New York (2009) and California (2020), as well as in the Central and Eastern Federal District Courts of California.
